As women, we all eventually have to succumb to that dreadful period that accompanies the loss of periods: Menopause. Unfortunately, often overlooked is the period before, peri-menopause, which can take 10 or more years to arrive at actual menopause. In this talk, Julia explains how woman can treat some of the more challenging peri-menopause symptoms both naturally and not and helps women to get through some of the confusion out there. She also goes on to explain how menopause does not need to be the end of life as we know it, but can be the opportunity for something better, as long as potential health hurdles are prepared for. Julia gives a no nonsense approach to ensuring health post-menopause remains in health, helping woman to maintain their waistline, their brain, and their youthfulness with some critical lifestyle, diet, and mind-hack interventions.

Julia Keller is a certified Nutritional Therapist (DipT & MSc), Naturopath (DipT), Hypnotherapist (DipT), and Health and Wellness Coach (Cert). She specialises in Women’s Health and prevention of ageing-related disorders, especially focused on helping women to deal with the difficulties faced during peri-menopause and to prevent the natural decline in health that comes on the other end. Julia’s masters thesis was a focus on the gut microbiome and how gut health influences how well (or badly) we age and what we can do about it: especially in preventing brain ageing, inflammation, and consequent dementia. She believes that we are all capable of living our best (and healthiest) lives so long as we look after our health, no matter when we start, and that lifestyle and diet changes can be literally life-altering (and don’t have to be difficult). Julia teaches her clients how to take small, meaningful steps towards a healthier, happier, youthfuller existance day by day so that the natural decline that supposedly comes with ageing starts to feel further and further away.
