All classes / lectures are free on a first come first served basis, please arrive at the class / lecture areas 10 minutes prior to the start time and please remember to bring your mat for open all yoga class areas.

The lecture will cover:
– Some key facts about Climate Change
– The role of Greenpeace in relation to combatting Climate Change
– Some success stories in which people have countered, or adapted to, Climate Change
– What the audience members can practically do to help.
The session will be interactive, encouraging discussion.

Anne worked for 32 years in the NHS, as a physiotherapist , educator and manager. Since retiring 2 years ago, she has volunteered as a Greenpeace speaker, giving talks in schools and community events, discussing issues such as plastic pollution and climate change. She has just completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Climate Change and is passionate about making sure that people understand the facts, rather than being overwhelmed by hot air! Anne has a deep respect for nature and the environment and also volunteers at a city farm and with the Wildlife Trust. She believes in taking practical steps to reduce the impact we are having on the natural environment.
